This is the first of a two-part consideration of this critical issue. This first presentation will discuss the principles of firestopping, and how to correctly select and install firestop systems. The second presentation, to be held on Tuesday 25 August, will discuss the specific issues of airflow containment in critical facilities: data centres and healthcare.
