The BICSI 2019 ‘Setting the Standard’ New Zealand conference is on this week and, from the record number of registered delegates and exhibitors, it promises to be huge!

The conference is being held Tuesday 9 April, returning to the Ellerslie Event Centre in Auckland for its fifth year.

The format remains the same as previous years with a comprehensive conference program upstairs in the Remuera Room and an all-day exhibition hall downstairs in the Newmarket Room. Our sponsors have very generously covered all our needs while we’re there – food, drink, Wi-Fi and comfortable work area. That way, everyone can stay all day to catch everything.

  • Breakfast – sponsored by AC-WB Technologies (Gold)
  • Morning Tea – sponsored by JA Russell (Gold)
  • Lunch – sponsored by CommScope (Platinum)
  • Afternoon Tea – sponsored by Fluke Networks (Gold)
  • Business Lounge & Wi-Fi – sponsored by Cory’s (Gold)
  • Post-conference Networking Drinks – sponsored by AFL (Gold)

The event is free to industry professionals, where they will meet the subject matter experts in all things ICT-Infrastructure-related.

The conference will feature thought leaders covering topics including the NZ Govt PSR (Protective Security Requirements); the latest ICT standards and regulations; Smart Buildings; the latest education needs of our industry; and OHS in ICT to name a few. Click here to see the full program.

The exhibition hall will feature 39 booths showcasing the latest products and services that are essential to ICT infrastructure and building services. Some of the items on show will include copper and optical fibre cables and connectivity; wireless networks; test gear; power distribution; access control; digital healthcare; intelligent power management; IoT gear; outside plant deployment systems; and training services. A new feature introduced to the New Zealand conference is a “What’s New, What’s It Do?” series of workshops. In this classroom-style area, visitors will be able to not only get up close and personal with the latest technologies, but also with the experts who can show you how to get the most out of them in your business.
