BICSI 2021 WA Golf Day a Huge Success

Unaffected by COVID restrictions, BICSI members, along with their colleagues, clients and other local ICT industry members enjoyed a fabulous day of golf and networking at Joondalup Golf Resort in Perth on Friday 12 November.

While much of the country was still under restrictions and unable to meet in groups of more than five people, our annual BICSI WA Golf Day, held in conjunction with Holeseekers golf day, was attended by over 100 ICT and construction industry professionals and their guests. Hailed a “huge success” by all, the Golf Day raised over $22,000 for Wheels for Hope charity. Under perfect weather conditions of blue sky, 27 degrees and slight winds, we’re sure all other BICSI South Pacific members wished they were in Perth instead of where they were. Jealousy aside, we’re all delighted some of our members were able to get out on the golf course and have a fabulous time amongst other industry professionals, while raising a significant donation to a very worthy charity.

The BICSI 2021 Golf Day was won by MM Electrical with a staggering 14 under par result (They also won the overall Holeseekers Golf day).

Et the other end of the results in last place was Team Siemon/Pacific Datacom (aka Weapons of Grass Destruction).

Thanks goes out to all of the participants and sponsors who fielded teams for the event. Thanks also to Panduit who sponsored this year’s trophies; and to CableWise, who sponsored the crowd-favourite ‘Yellow Balls challenge’ for it comic effect on the day.

And a special thanks goes out to BICSI WA Golf Day coordinator Ben Mok for working tirelessly with members, Holeseekers, Wheels for Hope Charity and Joondalup resort to make sure everything went exceptionally well on the day.

Congratulations again to everyone who participated – we’re sure everyone had a great day.
