Finance and Audit Committee
This committee has a fixed membership of the Treasurer, Chair, Chair-Elect, Secretary and Executive Director. Chaired by the Treasurer, the committee shall be responsible for developing appropriate fiscal policies, monitoring financial performance, and approving or recommending budgetary changes.
Membership Outreach & Development Committee
The Membership Outreach and Development Committee (MOD Committee) oversees all aspects of BICSI South Pacific’s membership outreach and development programs, including communication vehicles, and membership recruitment and retention campaigns as directed by the BICSI South Pacific Board of Directors.
This committee will be responsible for presenting to the Board of Directors a slate of candidates for office each year. This slate will, whenever possible, and at the discretion of the Nominating Committee, be comprised of a minimum of two active, involved, and qualified members of BICSI South Pacific seeking to serve as an elected member of the Board of Directors.
BICSI South Pacific Standards Sub-Committee
The BICSI South Pacific Standards Sub-Committee participates in the development of telecommunications related standards, as well as notifies BICSI’s South Pacific membership of changes within applicable standards that may affect them. This Sub-Committee serves to provide a local forum where BICSI South Pacific members can perform as an arm of the BICSI Global’s, BICSI Standards Committee (BSC), to develop, promote and support relationships with other standards generating bodies local to their region.
BICSI South Pacific Constitution Committee
This Ad Hoc committee shall be responsible for ensuring that BICSI South Pacific’s Constitution is in-line with both the BICSI Global Bylaws, BICSI Global’s International Policies and Procedures (IPP) and Australian’s Corporate laws.
BICSI South Pacific Office IT Upgrade Committee
This committee is tasked with updating BICSI South Pacific’s ICT Infrastructure and Systems to bring them inline with Best Practice for a Small Business solution.
