Call for BICSI South Pacific Board of Directors nominations

BICSI South Pacific is now calling for nominations to join its Board of Directors (the Board) for the
2018-2020 term.

Thank you for your interest in nominating yourself to volunteer as a member of the BICSI South Pacific Board of Directors. BICSI continues to have a positive impact on the information and communications technology (ICT) community, and the Board of Directors plays a central role in this work.

We are now calling for nominations to fill the vacancies that will be left by the four outgoing Board members as of October 2018, making up half of the Board.

This is a formal invitation for self-nomination to the following positions on the Board that will take effect as of 9th October 2018:

  • Secretary;
  • General Board Position;
  • General Board Position; and
  • General Board Position.

We therefore encourage all BICSI South Pacific members to consider how they can get more involved with the vision and direction of our association, and think about possibly participating on the Board, or at least who they want to see representing them in strategic industry matters.
To nominate, go to http://bicsi.com.au/about/board/2788-2/. There you will find details on the role as a BICSI South Pacific Director, including the BICSI South Pacific ‘Constitution’; and BICSI Global ‘International Policies & Procedures’; and BICSI ‘Bylaws’.

On this page, you’ll also find the procedure for self-nomination, along with the forms to download, complete and submit to BICSI.

Upon receipt of the nominations after the official closing date of 15th February, all of the candidate submissions will be reviewed by the BICSI South Pacific Nominating Committee, who will then present the successful nominees to the BICSI South Pacific members, along with their vision statements, for the membership to vote to fill the four positions. Voting is expected to commence Monday 1st May 2018 and close midnight AEST 31st May 2018.

Important
Nominations will close midnight AEST 15th February 2018.
